Alessandro Nunes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

In September 2015 Professor Alessandro Nunes became the 2nd CTA affiliate in Brazil. In 2016 Professor Nunes expanded his role with CTA becoming the head of the Caio Terra Association Niteroi.

Professor Nunes runes the Alessandro Nunes Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy, one of Niteroi’s premier Jiu Jitsu academies. His academy is filled with talent including Brazilian Jiu Jitsu phenom Rudson Telles, the 2017 Brown belt double gold world champion who trained with professor Nunes for two years and 2017 European open and Brazilian National champion Jessica Carloine.

Caio Terra Academy Madison

The Caio Terra Academy, Madison, Wisconsin was founded by Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt Jon Hinds, owner and creator of the world famous monkey bar gym. Located inside the gym,  Caio Terra Academy Madison’s head instructor is now Daniel Jordan Wilson (Jordan). Jordan has a diverse background and has been training and teaching Jiu Jitsu on and off for over 14 years!

Island Top Team

Island Top Team is founded by professor Robb Biernacki. Professor Biernacki has been training for over a decade and was voted the number Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor in all of Canada.

CTA Woodland

2017 Grand Canyon State Open!

The North American Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation has been coming to Arizona for the past 4 years hosting their annual Grand Canyon State Open. A gi and nogi tournament condensed into one long and full day of BJJ competition. With teams from California, Nevada, New Mexico and locally in Arizona, the competition was heated and intense!

2017 BJJ Tour American Cup!

The BJJ Tour is one of the country’s largest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments. Traveling the US and holding tournaments across the states, Northern California is where they call home and hosted their very first tournaments. This year, they held their 1oth American Cup tournament at the Cow Palace in Daly City, CA.

2017 IBJJF Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championships!

Another IBJJF Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championships has come and gone. For 4 days, competitors from around the world converge at the Bren Center in Irvine, CA to battle it out to become the next Pan American Champion.

This tournament, that comes once a year, has grown to become one of the worlds largest BJJ competitions in the world. For many, winning this tournament is almost as prestigious as winning a World Championship title.

Superior Martial Arts

Founded by martial artist Ty Reed and Josh Crone, Superior Martial Arts is The Premiere Martial Arts Academy In Burnaby, BC Offering Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Karate, And MMA Instruction For Kids And Adults Of All Ages. Ty and Josh are doing amazing things for their community and will with out a doubt continue to produce champions on and off the mat. With the slogan “be superior” Superior Martial Arts is definitely living up to their name!

Twisted Jiu Jitsu

Twisted Jiu Jitsu is a collaboration between two dedicated brothers | Borislav and Vladimir | who want to spread the Jiu Jitsu lifestyle in Bulgaria and Eastern Europe. Their academy offers classes for both children and adults.

Invictus Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Invictus BJJ is a jiu-jitsu academy, located in Suriname South America, which is established in January 2014. This academy is founded by Jurgen Ho. Jurgen Ho is not only the owner, but also the head coach of Invictus BJJ.

Jurgen Ho started this academy with a bright vision to offer the Surinamese people the opportunity to practice this gentle art. His goal was not only to teach self-defense, but also to show how an individual can apply the jiu-jitsu lifestyle in their everyday life.
