Professor Caio Terra and the entire CTA family would like to extend a warm welcome to Team Alpha Miami! At Team Alpha when they say one team, one family they really mean it! Lead by Head Instructor Carlos Sainz and Assistant Instructors Gabriela and Corban Sainz at team alpha Jiu Jitsu is a family business!
Team Alpha
Founded in 2014 by Carlos and Gabrieal Sainz, Team Alpha has both adult and youth Jiu-Jitsu programs but places a specialized emphasis on teaching kids. Coach Carlos finds teaching children especially rewarding as Jiu Jitsu teaches kids how to defend themselves, building their confidence, self-esteem, and giving them knowledge and tools they can use for a lifetime. In August of this year Team Alpha lead their kids team to 1st place in the kids division of the entire state of Florida. Building champions on and more importantly off the mat, the team Alpha way!

After watching him for many years in October of 2018 Team Alpha hosted a seminar with Professor Caio Terra. Instructors Carlos and Gaby were blown away by Professor Caio’s technical instruction but more importantly his humble character. They knew then that CTA would be a good fit for them and their academy.
In November they made it official and became part of the CTA family. If you’re in the larger Miami area you should definitely drop by and check them out!
