Five days prior to this years 2020 Pan championship Mason defended his submission underground title vs ADCC Champion and IBJJF world Champion, Vinny Magalhaes.
Although he only got one training session in with the gi, Mason entered the 2020 Pans Champion as the heavy favorite to win his division. He did not disappoint!
Four matches later and 3 submission, Mason was the 2020 Pans Champion. In the open division he submitted all opponents till the final where he came up a little short to take home silver.
Congrats Mason and all the competitors for testing themselves on the mats! As a team we ended up 3rd in both the female and masters division. Up next Masters worlds!!
