Founded in 2019 by Scott and Toni Rawson, Sentinel Martial Arts began with a small group training out of a backyard shed. In 2023, Sentinel moved into a small commercial space, then expanded into a larger premises in Atherton on the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland, Australia. Sentinel runs Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for kids and adults, alongside Muay Thai and mixed arts. The training culture centres on refined technique and controlled, technical exchanges rather than strength-led scrambles.
